A couple of weeks ago, I went diving with my regular dive buddy at one of the local dive sites we'd recently started exploring, and were treated to a show by a couple of sea lions that basically followed us around for the entire dive. This is the video, taken by my dive buddy, and edited by his wife. No fancy equipment, just a Canon A630 digital camera. It's about 10 minutes long, so enjoy the gracefulness of these fantastic animals (and ignore the lack of grace by the diver that shows up a few times... me!)

Those sea lions are bigger than I thought. Do you ever have to watch out for polar bears?

Thats awesome, I love diving with Sea Lions

Ha ha... no polar bears anywhere close to where I live! I bet they'd be fun to dive with though :D

Hey Brian, nice video! Would you ask your buddy if he'd like to allow me to use his video on my TV series, "SEA-Inside: Pacific Northwest" -- I don't get nearly enough video from Alaska. I'd need to use music I had broadcast rights to and maybe cut it down to 5 minutes. If he's interested, have him contact me. More info about my TV series at: SEA-Inside.org
