I had just bought the complete series on DVD (eBay) when the article came out.

My wife, who is too young to have seen the show on TV, just rolled her eyes.

If you are referring to the four volume set put out by ATI, I'll say it again....you don't have the "complete series". I wish they would come out with volume 5 and finish the project (or have they?).

The four volumes have 124 sequential episodes, and nicely done at that. Now, 124 episodes divided by the four volumes equals 31 episodes per volume. 31 episodes per volume times FIVE volumes equals exactly 155 episodes- or ALL THE EPISODES IN THE SERIES.

So, do you think they intended to make a fifth volume? Why haven't they? Dunno.

So. Put me down as wanting that last season, too. I stand corrected.

Maybe if we all contact the guys at ATI and tell them it isn't nice to tease?
Since all four volumes that are available were copyright 2005, then maybe we're hoping for too much to see a fifth volume. I really don't understand why they didn't make a volume-5. Kind of frustrating. Make that REALLY frustrating! Perhaps ATI doesn't exist anymore. I've been unsuccessful at finding contact information for them via the web.

I use the videos as entertainment at dive clubs when I'm invited to speak. Besides my usual ;) serious pontifications, I show them an episode.

When it's over, I give the members of the Clubs a quiz asking fairly silly questions such as names on the boats, how many sawtooth profiles did we see, how many times did Mike hoist himself up that ladder after tossing is flippers up ahead of himself, etc.

You can have a lot of fun with them.

Available on Amazon, have 128 (out of 155 ?) episodes for $120

That, and the writer blew the old Mr.~Dr. conundrum for Nimoy's Spock.

..."You know, three-fifths of the world is covered by the sea, and how little most of us know about that underwater world. Go below with us again next week for another thrilling adventure in Sea Hunt."
