I am looking for imput on the Sea Elite Tek X06 reg setup.....I am looking for a cold water reg. This is supposed to be a clone of the Dive Rite Hurricane setup and I am wondering how the 2 really compare. Thanks

I've purchased 2 Sea Elite regulators.
Each crapped out on the very first dive.
In one, the diaphragm lever simply fell off rendering the regulator completely inoperable. A student was using it.
The other, the low pressure hose junction just before the second stage connector ruptured.
I had both replaced under warranty with a different manufacturer.
I will not buy another Sea Elite regulator.
