A big thumbs-up for the Sea Cure mouthpiece! I wish I would have gotten one sooner! I'm not one of those who bites or chews their mouthpieces, but I like having the mouthpiece traversing the full length of my teeth. It feels more secure and my jaw is in a more natural position on long dives, eliminating jaw fatigue. The other cool thing about it, is that it's a little longer than the standard mouthpiece, so it keeps my reg's exhaust from constantly being against my chin, which, on longer dives, can become a source of irritation.

The only knock on it, is that the directions say not to immerse the portion that attaches to the reg, but I found that it was impossible to attach to my reg without softening it up a little, so I immersed that end of it for approximately ten seconds, just enough to slightly soften it up, and voila: It slipped onto my reg with no problem. All in all, the whole process only took about a half hour, and I feel that it's one of the best things I've done to improve my comfort.

they are great aren't they.

i love mine, too. and contrary to popular belief, if someone's oog they don't care that it doesn't fit them perfectly! just ask packman or jason b...

we had a class this weekend! amazing how we were oog so often...

Funny, just took mine off last week - I found that it was so secure that it was almost locking my jaw in placing, making equalizing a whole lot more difficult. Took it off between tanks and equalizing problem disappeared on the second dive that day.

Love mine too. One of my dive buddies wear braces and he has remolded his several times without problems.
