My LDS was showing me the new AF regultors for the scubapro lines and stated that it is an upgrade and wondered if I wanted it. Therefore, I am asking the board what you all think?

If this upgrade actually works, it would make an excellent reg even better.

depends....if your diving colder waters, yes it may be a worth it. But if not, no need for the upgrade. Its still up to you....if its free, then it may be worth it :)

Do a search. There was a previous thread on the subject. I find it hard to believe that the changes can render the SP piston reg freeze proof. I mean, adding fins and insulators and or increasing flow through.... what's really new?
