Whow! That's a wild mix, never seen.

Is that the MK20UL you were mentioning?

For that one I would trade one of my MK19s.......

I don’t have much to add, to be honest. This is an interesting one to be sure with the serial number sleeve.
  • The piston cap without the heat-exchanger fins places it pre-2002, as the fins were introduced that year.
  • The protective sleeve on the yoke (what garbage, to be honest…) places it post-2002, as it was introduced then.
  • There is no bumper around the swivel, which was dropped in 2002.
  • The yoke knob points to pre-2004, as the style was changed that year.
I’m fully aware that those statements are contradictory, there must be some documentation that I'm missing

The MK25 variants have always confused me. Some of Scubapro’s documentation says the MK25 TA is an aluminium alloy that is hard-oxidised and coated, while the TA schematics say it’s a titanium alloy.

If I had to guess, I’d say this is an MK25TA from around 2002, which is exactly what the serial number indicates (starting with 02).

I’m more and more convinced this is a Beta tester now that we’re all stumped to exactly pin it down
VQ, seems you got a unicorn

So.. serendipity of sorts
The actual unit mounted there as an example of a 25TA (center) has the same „hodgepodge“ look (black body silver turret)
