Hi.
My uncle quit diving, and gave me all his gear.
From what Ive read the mk10 first stage is still great to use. Cant find to much info on the r190 second stages.
Anyone have any experience with this equipment?

Regards,
Kriss

r190 is a downstream 2nd with a simple and rugged design. main thing for norway would be to detune and pack the mk10 for better freeze resistance and adjust the r190 to match. a 109 or 156 would be an upgrade to keep your eye out for.

I have a r190, and a 109. Both are absolutely fine 2nds. The Mk10 first is very good.

Mk10 is IMHO one of the best first stages ever made. They breathe like a dream and are easy to maintain. The R190 is no slouch either. Not quite as nice breathing as the G200B or the G250 (adjustable) but it's simple and rugged. Paired with a MK10 you've got a nice set.
