I might add that the VIVA vane oring was an apparently 90 Duro since it was stiff and not squishy, same size and hardness as the piston stem O-ring on a MK-2. I just carefully dug the old one out of the groove with a sharp O-Ring pick, breaking it up into two pieces.

It came out of a Harbor freight Viton O-Ring kit. For some reason, the old Scubapro G250 kit circa 2000 that I had stockpiled from when I used to help the shop did not apparently have the VIVA O-Ring. It's Viton, albiet cheap Chinese Viton so it should last.

So, I survived a Harbor Freight O-ring.
 
I finished my dive on the 200 now B. They are a sleeper of a reg and great breather and can be had for a song on Ebay as a fixer-upper for the so inclined. A much better octo that an unbalanced reg as well.
