Or one with a mouth piece strap? What year was this drawing?

I have a 108 with the mouthpiece strap.... It's one of the early one's with the double stacked exhaust valve. But I have no way of knowing if the gag strap was original to it.

The Pilot?

Yes, the Pilot had a ball in the system. It was sandwiched between the lever and a lift pin IIRC
