Just got back from Columbus last night just before the coach turned back into a pumpkin. Those folks got it together. Friday night's talk with Ralph Wilbanks was informative, Saturday had workshops and presentations for everyone was well attended even though the weather was great. Apparently Saturday 700-900 people were there! All I know is we talked to a lot of them. We gave out close to 100 Alpena/Thunder Bay bags.

I was hearing that some did not know we had a dive shop with air fills up here or that there were even Charters. Just to set the record straight I have been running Thunder Bay Scuba since 2001 and am open 7 days a week from memorial Day thru Labor Day. There are at least four 6 packs based in Alpena and I will be glad to hook you up.

Now and then I actually try to get a dive in myself so a heads up call a day or two before you come would be helpful because this year I will be running my own boat. Last year I worked with a friend relocating the John Shaw from clues that came my way and took ONE day off for that but every other day of the Summer I was here from at least 10:00am to 2:00pm Saturday and Sunday and 9:00-5:30 weekdays!
