I don't know if they'll be doing that.

I've never used one 'for real' but it was fun using it during training.

Will they be making the AED certification available as well? I am certified ACLS through the military would like to get that as well.

I'll look for the sign! At first I wasn't planning to be there Friday, but now I may be. I'd like to meet a bunch the GLWC folks this next weekend.

As the new kid, I'll step up to the plate to get everyone together at this thing. I know a lot of you are coming down Saturday, but I will volunteer to put together some big "GLWC" sign and take it to the Friday night mixer.

I have to work that day so I'll be there around 7:00 or so to gather everyone together. My wife an I have plans for Saturday, so I will pass the sign onto someone else for Saturday.

Anyone interested in meeting up Friday?

Does anyone know if there will be many local dive shops/sites/charters with booths at the Fest this year? I see from the website that a bunch of manufacturers will be there and some of the seminars and workshops look good, but how well is the local scene represented?

We (our GM ER team) used our AED twice last year, 1 fully recovered and the second was down quite a while but we had heart beat before the EMS got here but died 3 weeks later.

I'm a AHA BLS and first aid instructor and we copied the strips and show them during our AED classes.

I would like to go but we have a campout this weekend and I have to run the climbing/rappelling tower for the Boyscouts.
We shouldn't have any trouble w/ bugs

My hopes were up, but are now dashed! I put in for the day off so I could prepare myself to meet you! Now you're bailing out! I'm crushed!

I'll be there sometime Saturday and of course Saturday evening.

I'll be there Friday unless something drastic happens..

So, do I finally get the meet the "Pue" in person just before she goes someplace warm, sunny, and wonderful, I don't wanna talk about?

What's the survival rate for people who are revived with an AED? Do you know? I know it's not great when CPR is used, but at least it's a chance...
