ScubaBoard's 2016 Fool's Spring Megadive

I asked @JSweat to marry me at this event! She said YES. Oh, and we did it inside the ballroom cavern! Video of the proposal to follow soon!

Thanks for the many folks that helped me arrange the underwater proposal. Particularly, Dennis/Roxanne for arranging the event. Robert Henn from Sunshine Scuba provided lighting and filmed it, and Rich D'Angelo from Bill Jackson's shop for adventure provide full facemask training.

It sounds like Mitch and Billy are planning to have a little bit about the proposal in their June episode of Scubanation titled "Cave Country!"

You both made MEGADIVE very special. Congratulations to you both.

Well we had another successful and fun Megadive event!
We did have a pretty good line of showers with a little light show go through early on Saturday morning, but what's a little rain between friends.

We had the wonderful engagement between 2 of our ScubaBoard members in the ball room as already posted! Congrats to @kelemvor and @JSweat (Aaron and Jennifer)! Can't wait to see the video!

A great big thanks to Dive Rite for their demo day on Saturday. All the members kept them hopping trying on all their wonderful gear. Please post and let every know what you thought about any of the gear you tried out.

Thanks to shellmoundal (Al) from the NSS/CDS, for coming to the event to share their knowledge with the group.

We did see a little of ScubaNation, but I think they found a lot of content in cave country. So they were pretty busy folks over the weekend. It's a shame they missed the galaxy dive and bonfire on Saturday.

Thank you again to our wonderful Master breakfast chef @scubafool for cooking all those tasty Megaomelettes.

Thanks to all who pitched in to bring food items for the meals and those who helped with all the chores! We have such a wonderful SB community!


Cardzard (Dennis) and I want to say a very special thank you for the wonderful card we received this weekend from the group. It was such a touching surprise! Thank you! It's nice to feel appreciated!
