TSandM:
I was trying to decide where I fit, but accidental troll probably describes my most successful threads :(

I disagree I do not think you are a Troll! You give great advice about thing you know or have experienced. You also tell great stories about your vacations and diving adventures. I enjoy your posts and find them to some of the most honest and informative on scubaboard.

edited to remove horrible lies!

I am probably getting encyclopeadic. I do not have much time each day to post, so that when I do I get to go a bit blahh maybe.
Hmmm...on that note I will keep it short.
This reply was actually also completely useless to everyone.
a.

irrelevant, because the poster I was teasing edited his post!

What about the DOLT.

This poster seems to think this is the Scrub A Board, and gives advice about the best way to clean a piece of wood.

Also,

What about the GrammariNON

Has such poor grammar and spelling that the intent of their reply is entirely incomprehensible. Please note that I limit this group to those who claim English as their first language. To those who principally converse in any other language this does not apply. If you speak two languages you are at least one up on me, since I only speak one, my hat is off to you.

Thought you would like that

Then there is always the "Hottie" which applies to ummm... well virtually every female scubaboard member!

(thank god my wife doesn't post here :11:)

H2Andy:
hehehehe....

a variation thereof:

The Theoretical Genius: TheoGeo knows how to do everything ... in theory. he's actually never done anything he talks about, but can give you precise advice on
how to do ... everything. while TheoGeo does not own double tanks, he can
tell you how to assamble them. TheoGeo has never been to Bonaire, but he
knows the best restaurants. The Authoritah detests TheoGeo and is devoted
to unmasking TheoGeo's lack of practical acumen.

Yeah, I like TheoGeo better than what I said. Perhaps a mix of the two. It kills me when I discover that some expert/theogeo actually has no experience.

I guess I have to be a hottie. :D I'm not a TAT because I troll on purpose.:mooner:

hehehehe... here's two more:

Proto Diver: Proto Diver has been diving before there were c-cards. Heck, some
Proto DIvers have been diving before scuba was invented. A few actually claim
that when they started diving there were no bodies of water on Earth. Proto Diver's
ideas of training and safety ossified sometime between 1965 and 1972. They are
convinced nothing is done right anymore, cause that's not the way they used to
do it in the good old days.

Instructo: Instructo knows everything 'cause he's an instructor and you're not.
If you know something he doesn't know, it's not worth knowing, cause he's an
instructor and you are not. Instructo belives that no one can be a true diver
and not be an instructor (DM's are a necessary evil). Never mind that Instructo
has less than 300 dives and has been an instructor for exactly 2.4 months.
