... perhaps to see if anyone else is receiving them ??? Perhaps to ascertain that the problem is related to SB before reporting it as an SB related problem ???
He did mention that they're emails, and not posts.
To respond to the OP's question ... not I. But it would be interesting to see if this is regional, or if someone's just got an axe to grind about the industry ...

We would still want to investigate someone misusing ScubaBoard and/or its resources.
