Suggestion ScubaBoard mascot design ideas???

Today @scubadada asked this question on a Invasion 22 t-shirt thread…. “Why are divers always portrayed as dead skeletons?”

That was a good question….. which brought to mind wouldn’t it be beneficial and fun if ScubaBoard had it’s own graphic mascot to be used on the website and on t-shirts instead of a “dead skeleton”.

If ScubaBoard members agree, how about using your creativity and post your design suggestions for a SB mascot here. I look forward to your submissions!

A platypus would suffice.

I like the idea. It's odd and exotic but cute and familiar, water/diving-related, and pretty endearing.

Portraying one in scuba gear could be dicey. A 2nd stage mouthpiece in a bill, and a mask on a creature with that eye placement and head shape... It'd need to be quite stylized.

A demand valve is a more challenging thing to fit, though. Sanctum however, hints us: There is no need for a demand valve, if we can operate the cylinder valve. Just put the hose in mouth.

This thread has me confused. Why are we talking about creating a mascot for Scubaboard when there already is one? Moonie has been around for many years. Not to mention the fact that @ROXANNE already does a great job designing topical shirt design choices on every trip. I definitely don't want to tell her she has to include a certain graphic.
