In Jim Lapenta's recent thread http://www.scubaboard.com/forums/scuba-related-court-cases/369505-hey-gundi-up-yours.html he is auctioning off a special edition of his dive book in support of the ScubaBoard Legal Defense fund (for more information click here: http://www.scubaboard.com/forums/ba...right-post-scubaboard-legal-defense-fund.html ).

This got me thinking about other ways to raise funds for the ScubaBoard Legal Defense fund (besides sending a donation to legaldefense@ScubaBoard.com). Personally I'd love to be able to purchase a book (as yet unwritten) called Scubaboard Explained. This book should be written by an SB veteran. It could explain to me what the cryptic references to "wormil" are. And, since someone else will do it, I may as well suggest that it should include the infamous warhammer post, complete with photo.

A follow-up book might be Scubaboard in a Nutshell where the most common post topics are posed (e.g., "Newb diver here. What kind of BC should I get?") and two positions, sed and contra, are argued by two subject matter experts in 500 words or less (e.g., a pro-BC post and a pro-BP/w post).

Edit: I know that a BP/w is also a BC.

Just a thought...

Hey, I found that photo about 6 months ago. It took a bit of searching, but it is out there. Now, however, I sort of wish that I hadn't seen it as it is burned into my mind. The book might need an "R" rating.

Yeah. You would think long and maybe not so hard about butt kissing
after that pic.

Gotta be mindful with that matter.

You had a bad experience?

Ok I'm hooked what is "the infamous warhammer post"

Just for those of us out their who dont know.

Warhammer was the user name of a SB participant years ago. He posted a picture of the Warhammer maneuver, which is what one uses when having bowel distress under water.

You can find it with a search. I'm not posting it.

Clarification: distress without any exposure protection/suit. With such a suit in place the photo would have been much less dramatic.
