Having lived in Centro America quite a bit, here are some of the more important words and phrases I have become dependent upon:
Cigar-puro
Beer-cerveza
Whiskey-whiskey
Chick-chica
Weed-maleza
How much?-?Cuanto Cuesta?
You are so pretty.-Mucha guapa esta usted.
Your place or mine?-?Su sitio o meo?
See you later. Hasta luego.
There are more, not so important.

Donde vives en Ohio?....Where do you live in Ohio?

and don't forget....mi hermana trabaja en la esquina, y ella es muy barata....la quieres?:11:
(my sister works on the corner and she is very cheap....do you want her?):D

There are only two phrases you need in any language:

My friend will pay,

and

will this drainpipe hold my weight.

If you are female, you may neither understand or need the second phrase

Eye! Los gringos aqui son muy maleducado.

IG-Dive:
Here are some:

To Scuba dive: Bucear

IG-Dive

Conjugation:

Buceo (I dive)
Buceas (you dive)
Bucea (he/she dives)
Buceamos (we dive)
Buceais (y'all dive) I think they should change the textbooks and just call this the y'all form!
Bucean (they dive)

How'd I do? Be kind, I'm new to this and did not look any of that up.

And with that being said, can someone answer me this?

One tape I have asked for a translation of "How are you all doing?" (the y'all form I thought). I answered Como estais, they said it was como esta ustedes. The only thing I can figure is mine was familiar, and they gave the formal. What's the real deal?

thebes11: Don't worrry about it, the native Spanish speakers won't understand you either way you say it.

k4man: About 30 miles NE of Col's. And, first of all, is your hermana a virgin, like her Mom?

Does Russian, Spanish, English, French, you name it.
Coolest most fun software I seen in years.
run a few sentences through it and find out why Russian immigrants sound like Russian immigrants.

Я имею новый регулятор и жилет контроля плавучести, я собираюсь испытывать это скоро в плавательном бассейне прежде, чем я приезжаю. Я приезжаю, чтобы нырнуть этим летом и ожидаю иметь большое время, делая это. Нетерпеливое ожидание моих ныряющих каникул в вашей красивой стране.

Have a new regulator and a waistcoat of the control of buoyancy, I am going to check it soon in a swimming pool before I come. I come to dive this summer and I expect to have big time, doing it. Impatient expectation of my diving vacation in your beautiful country.
