Thailand for a year? Life is so unfair!

Here is one on the subject of the path a diver might follow:

    Diver, soon Advanced,
    Past Master to Instructor.
    Chop water, carry gas.

If the last line leaves you cold, google "chop wood, carry water" for the rest of the story.

ClayJar, most excellent haik. How come there's no "thank you" button in this forum?

Purists will have noted the lack of a season and a nature scene in some of these. Deal with it.

hehe, I can assure you that I deserve this break, as I have discovered that diving is the cure for my over 7 year long depression. If i was to spend another year where I am now, I would surely become a hollower man than I stand today. Also I have worked very hard to see that this dream of mine will become a reality, and will continue to do so untill I arrive at my destination! Forgive me if my plans caused envy or any other emotion of a similar nature. This was not my intention.

Also im quite fond of your haiku there. The last line was well thought out.

    Do what you must do!
    Earn your every blessing!
    But work smart, not hard!

And before retiring, I cannot resist a self-referential jibe:

    We consume your arts.
    Haiku the appetizer,
    MTV the meal.

Kind of scary, but I know
