By the way, I mentioned this on the other goop thread, but I just found out about the term "sock puppet" and finally "got" the sea monster with a sock on its tail posted after pfflyer posted here (although I gathered it was being implied we were the same person). No, I am not the flyer. I used to fly light airplanes -- a lot. Aerobatics, antique taildraggers, etc. -- but I never came anywhere near the level of Air Force or airline flying. And I do fight wildfires, but as a grunt on the ground. I never have and never will get the chance to fly one of those cool fire bombers. As a ranger, I can't afford flying anymore. I spend my money on scuba instead.

It's not just scuba.com but other online retailers too. What really irked me was the product decription stating that it was "specially formulated for marking scuba gear."
