how do you get to Pagudpud from Laoag? any good places to stay and dive there? can you go there straight from the airport?
If you are taking partas bus lines, they already have a trip route passing by Pagudpud going to Cagayan Valley. There are quite few nice resorts there but sorry, forgot the names. Gabu airport (Laoag airport) is quite far from the main city as it's more nearer to fort ilocandia( I should know for my fathers land is just a walking distance from fort and I used to go there atleast once a year ev'ry summer) so you should arrange ev'rything before you leave Manila and there is really no shuttle services (before, don't know now)from there to any other place other than the usual tricycles.
Frankly, I don't get it why others took 10-13 hrs. driving to Laoag even on weekdays. My max speed usually is just 100-120 km/hrs. when I drive. Could they be taking too many or too long rest stops?::huh: :14:

hey gurney, hows the beach around fort ilocandia? are the sand and the waters decently okay?
