If you are taking partas bus lines, they already have a trip route passing by Pagudpud going to Cagayan Valley. There are quite few nice resorts there but sorry, forgot the names. Gabu airport (Laoag airport) is quite far from the main city as it's more nearer to fort ilocandia( I should know for my fathers land is just a walking distance from fort and I used to go there atleast once a year ev'ry summer) so you should arrange ev'rything before you leave Manila and there is really no shuttle services (before, don't know now)from there to any other place other than the usual tricycles.
Frankly, I don't get it why others took 10-13 hrs. driving to Laoag even on weekdays. My max speed usually is just 100-120 km/hrs. when I drive. Could they be taking too many or too long rest stops?::huh: :14:

thanks gurney.

has someone decided whether its worth diving in laoag/pagudpud?
