They also sell on eBay IIRC. Shipping is from Thailand.

BTW - practically useless when you are left handed
You mean... YOU'RE practically useless when you are left handed... right??? :D :D :D Don't blame the tool!

I have tools from both Scuba Clinic and Scuba Tools. Being from Australia Scuba Tools is expensive for freight and based on sales cost not volume or weight! I think Scuba Clinic prices are a bit higher but shipping is way more attractive.

They do. But if you are buying more than one thing, it might be cheaper to buy from them directly and pay shipping.

I was recently in Thailand so gave them a visit, bought a few tools. Unfortunately the splined G250 collar tool fitted none of my G250s, 9 in total. They were really good about it and sent me another which also fitted none. It did fit a SP BC hose though. They advised they made to the tool based on a collar they got new. I can only assume at some point SP changed the thickness of the nut, as comparing the BC nut with those on my G250s the BC nut is slightly thinner. They offered a refund but I declined, given all the efforts they made to address the issue. I did just order a new nut from SP so will check for myself. Something to be aware of if buying this tool. I have a ST splined wrench and the SP multi tool both of which fit every splined nut I have. SCT tools seem to be made with very tight tolerances and this could be part of the problem (?) as compared to much sloppier fitting ST and SP tools. I found their customer service to be awesome, very helpful and professional, the shop is surgery room clean. Nice people, I too would recommend them and unlike ST who charge like a wounded bull on shipping SCT shipping is very reasonable in comparison.

Update:

I ordered a new stock jam nut and the SCT tool fits perfectly. Like I said at some stage SP must have changed the jam nut dimensions. I just picked up three more G250s and the SCT tool fits none, that's zero for 12. Live and learn. Solution, either buy the SP multi tool or ST tool or replace jam nut with new stock nut. Or just use vice grips.

Craftsman makes vise grip pliers that take a soft cover. Works great.
