Scuba Chat Error

Whenever I try to access the "Scuba Chat," I get the error message:

"Error connecting to the server. Please try again in few minutes."

I have been getting this message all the time for days without being able to connect all. I have tried it on Firefox and IE.

I am using the latest FireFox, version 4.01. I tried it on another laptop using Windows vista and it is the same problem. First laptop is using Windows 7.

Hm ... I'm running XP Pro, I'll go try the Vista machine.

Vista machine with Firefox: AOK.

A thought: try updating your JAVA.

I updated Java and it is the same problem.

There have been a few other reported issues with the chat. The problem seems to be firewall related and stems from the fact that the chat is Java based and is hosted offsite by another website, addonchat.com If your firewall blocks access to that site, or keeps it from authenticating then you will get the chat log in error.
