Police confirm death of diver in Scapa Flow - The Orcadian Online
Police Scotland has confirmed that a 44-year-old Belgian man has died while diving in Scapa Flow on Monday morning.
A spokesman for Shetland Coastguard said they were contacted at 10.55am, on Monday, by the dive boat John L, which headed for Houton pier were it was met by members of the Kirkwall and Stromness Coastguard Rescue Teams and an ambulance.
Shortly after the police were also called to Houton.
No further details have been released at this time.
