Wearing anything, including tanks, that are yellow in the ocean, due to sharks.
There was a TV commercial in the 1960s or 70s for a razor blade manufacturer touting their blades. Basically they maintained using a lesser blade that might draw blood was a hazard before diving where sharks might be in the water.
 
This is what we need, certifications for mundane divers.

What about the dangers of spitting in your mask then washing it with baby soap before coating it with commercial defog ?

Anyone else remember the BC’s that had a co2 cartridge for emergency accents? That was some scary stuff. This was back in the late 70’s

They still had those in the early 80's, I learned to dive with one. The shop would leave a used CO2 cartridge in the mechanism so that students wouldn't activate it and rocket to the surface!
 
You guys forgot cave filling low pressure steel.

Also An OW diver carrying a light anywhere near a Cavern or Cave.
