We are reaching out to all diving clubs and shops to help protect and restore L.A. County waters! Do you have any gear or classes that you or your members can donate?
Santa Monica Baykeeper is changing its fundraising strategy to decrease the ecological footprint of our annual Beach Ball. Eco Gala is our answer to costly fundraising that generates substantial amounts of waste, both in non-recyclables and vehicle emissions. In addition, local water problems continually arise, which require our vigilance, litigation, and mitigation.
Eco Gala is a year-long event because we owe it to you and the planet to generate funds without taxing the earth.
To support the crucial work Santa Monica Baykeeper is doing, we are hosting a truly green fundraising event by having our entire event ONLINE! We are offering an online auction where goods and services will be bid on. Can you donate diving gear or classes to Baykeeper? Open-water certifications, wetsuits or anything you can think of can be auctioned off.
