Jenn, I think I may have dove off the SunDiver once, but I really don't remember much about that boat. I do remember my trip to San Clemente Island though. I recall it being a couple of amazing dives. I was still had very few dives (relatively speaking) under my belt, but it was awesome. You're going to have a great time.

Hi Linda :wavey:

I was on the Sundiver last month and I really enjoyed it! Ray and crew do an excellent job! Even if it is painfully S L O W!! I'm looking forward to San Clemente, but not the ride back!! ;)

I think I do now remember it being slow. If memory serves me correctly they were one of the few boats (at the time) that did not have a compressor on board.

I did my trip on the Great Escape, I think, it was Thanksgiving weekend in 1997. I went out with Reef Seekers and it was not a full boat so I wound up with a stateroom all to myself. What I remember most was the 72 degree water in November (yes, no joke, it was El Nino), that is the warmest water I ever had in CA.

Have a wonderful time

I also hope you have a great time in LaPaz, my diving for the rest of the year is going to be limited to just a few quarry dives (if I am lucky).

I do have Aruba planned for October of next year, and am hoping to get my annual trip to Florida in as well.

Ohhh no, I'm not going until Sept 1st! Hopefully it will warm up just a touch more before then!! :D

Has a compressor now and does a very good job of getting everyone refilled during surface intervals. Tanks are Steel 85's so you can drop 5-6 lbs of lead too.

It is not any faster though. We did Santa Barbara Island Sunday and it was 5 hrs coming home.

You might find it a bit warmer. All our temps were above 60 Sunday, but it runs a little bit cooler down south. I think the best you can hope for is mid -60's at depth if it really warms up.

If I was on that boat it was only once and it would have been in about 1995 so I could be remembering wrong too.
