Anybody want to explain to me why the sailboat off shore that sunk, supposedly hit a whale?

Are they still out there? I thought they were long gone.

I bet that was some ride, if it's true.

Hey, what's your post count up to for the week?

It could have been another type of whale - not a humpback.

I really don't know if blue's are around but they are the largest whale in the world and rarely sited but definately large enough to sink a sailboat.

There are reports of single and packs of whales attacking sail boats. There are also reports of whales in thongs on sailboats.....
By any chance was this boat well insured?

Actually, a couple years ago, a racing sailboat struck a whale and tore it (the boat) up...

maybe this whale was just trying to get even.

Even for what, the whale won?
What Tim said, What kind of boat, whale and thong?
And more important, can we dive it?

well, it was on the news off shore from the Big Island. The boat sunk and were rescued by some Coast Guard. ...some very handsome Coast Guard, I might add.

I am still trying to get in good with the Coast Guard after my faux pas.

WC...going to look at the Pursuit at 1500!
