I tried a couple of braided hoses for primary and secondary regs and didn't like them... they kept chaffing my neck and where very annoying during the dive. I do have a Miflex 22" HP hose that I clip to my left chest D-ring and its thinner diameter and shorter length work well in this position and it feels less bulky. Have used it for about 100 dives and it seems to be holding up quite well.
