Route through the Philippines

I have posted a similar thread on the Asia general forum, so apologies if you are reading this again and itÃÔ boring you. Im planning a six month diving trip around Asia then onto OZ but plan to spend about 2 months in the Philippines island hopping we will be coming up from the Sipadan islands and ending up in Manila (to fly out to OZ). Any route suggestions would be much appreciated.

here's a few suggestions:

you can spend a week or two in puerto galera in luzon. in the visayas, you can dive hilutungan in cebu then travel down to bohol and southern leyte (for whalesharks) and back to cebu again so you can travel up north to malapascua to see the thresher sharks. in mindanao, you can do davao then gen. san. or cagayan de oro and camiguin.
