Why would anyone even bother? I see more lobsters out of traps than in them.

It does seem that I see everything except lobsters in those things.

i don’t even look anymore, try to steer clear of those things as much as I can.

I make sure they are active, if they are I leave them alone if not I make sure nothing is trapped inside.

So what is the diving/parking status at Back Beach? It's looking like if I want to do any diving this summer I'm going to have to go North! Can I park close enough that I can suit up and get to the water without hiking?

I don't think it changed - it's two hour meter parking, first come first serve. As long as you can feed the meter between the dives (assuming you are doing two dives) you should be all set.
