The problem with individual tipping is there are a lot of "Behind the scene" people who help make your trip and stay what it is! The boat mechanic, the Gardner, Chief, The guy filling the Tanks in the back room. That is why I like the common break between housekeeping and dive operation through the front desk where all can share and you continue to get good service and keep you coming back! A good dive operation, like the resort is more than the guy you see our meet on the boat! From what I have seen here I now understand why I get good service and smile when I am in Roatan! The Staff and DMs for the last Ten years have gone the extra mile for us! They know I like Sea Horses so I get these pointed out all the time:
As far as your bags, the operation we use handles them from the time they come off the conveyor until the are dropped at your room! So talk to your resort and see if you can avoid that kind of scene, it reflect more on us than them, regardless of fault! :depressed:
