Today at 5:17 pm Johanna Raupe (Jo) from Edmonds, Washington found the Grassick's Jewelers Golden Gift token on the RivTow Lion (Tug Boat) Artificial Reef. Diving with Ocean Explorers Diving (www.oceanexplorersdiving.com) out of Nanaimo, BC aboard the Christie Bay No. 1. Jo and Marshall were bent on finding the golden medalion. With that in their dive plan they descended to the RivTow Lion. Searching all of the nooks and cranies about the boat they spotted a circular object that was very dark but unique in appearance. A second look and then a breif brush of the silt and low and behold a glimer of gold. A quick grab and excitment filled the underwater world that she and her son were diving in. They had found the hidden token. She now gets a Citizen's Eco-Drive Dive Watch. Jo is a SSI Master Diver wither over 100 logged dives and has been certified for two years with Adventure Sports Inc. (www.asiscuba.com) out of Gresham OR. Congratulations from Grassick's Jewelers, Ocean Explorers Diving and the Nanaimo Dive Association.
