Could you enable HTML in posts.

My "signature" requires the <marquee> </marquee> tags to move across the screen properly.

That's not a standard tag in XHTML 1.0 so don't lose sleep waiting for it.

The last thing we need is for people to be able to put html in. This place will look like a real mess.
