Rental properties in Key largo?

Technically Tavernier is on the island of Key Largo.

The island itself contains no incorporated municipalities (the entire island is governed by Monroe County) so it's not a stretch to say Ocean Pointe is **on** Key Largo and in the town of Tavernier.

When my dad first visited "Key Largo" in 1940, is was called Rock Harbor. Lowesport (later to become Tavernier) was settled some 40 years before Rock Harbor and it wasn't until "the movie" came out that Rock Harbor changed its' name to Key Largo.

The Schools, Fire Dept. and Police Dept. and Mariners Hospital here don't even consider Tavernier as Key Largo. If they did my children would have went to Key Largo schools (thank God they went to PKS) I lived on Oleander for 1 year before buying my first house which is one street before Burton. Key Largo starts after the Jewish Chruch which is past Burton drive going north towards Key Largo.

Well here's one for you. I live in Key Largo Beach Estates....Better known as Old Tavernier.
Yep the slicing and dicing of the little bitty islands here is mind boggling.
