Removing compass from element 3

Hey guys,
has anyone tried to remove the compass from a Tusa Element 3 console? I want to wrist mount it but I'm not sure how to go about removing it and I wasn't able to find a wrist mount to put it into! Anything you guys can throw my way should help.
