I'm wondering how one might damage a regulator in storage. During these colder months, I just have my reg looped around the top of my cylinder (not dangling, so there isn't a lot of weight on the hoses) and both of these are in the back rear corner of my closet.

With as much money as i dumped on the reg/octo/computer I DO NOT want them damaged.

any suggestions?

I keep mine loosly coiled in a box inside. I would lay it somewhere instead of hanging it up just to be safe. The main thing is just to watch out for extreme cold or heat or prolonged sunlight exposure. If you keep your gear inside, it shouldn't be an issue.
