Color perception changes with depth, so using color to identify regs is generally considered a bad idea. And in zero vis, it won't really matter what color the reg is, because you won't be able to see it anyway. The "right one" in this case is always the one in the donating diver's mouth - it can be found easily by feel if necessary, and you know that if your buddy is breathing it safely at the current depth, then you can breath it safely, too.RobbieTheHun:My question is this; does it not make sense to make identification of the primary reg more visible and therefore give a panicked diver who is grabbing for an air source a better chance of grabbing the right one?
