Reel - GI - DIR - Where?

I heard a rumour that GI is going to change the place where the primary reel should be connected? Is this true? At the moment I'm scared to go diving since I'm not sure where to keep it. Please someone DIR-master, tell me.

keep it where it is now, if GI is going to change where he wants to put it you can always change where YOU put it later.

I don't see that as funny, I see it as common sense....maybe some of those freaks with 97 piercings might find this enjoyable, but not me.

It probably gets in the way of his more ardent followers.

I don't like it there because it interferes with a frog kick (dangles between my legs) and is generally uncomfortable. I tried moving the ring closer to the plate and didn't like that either.
