back40:
I'm game as long as it's not the last week in July(mini season). If I can't shoot them at least I can call them names.back40

Yeah! (LOL)

Sounds good to me. Labor day weekend would be good!

Count us panhandle divers in and keep us posted. Labor day week end sounds good.
When, where, and what time. Cocked, locked, and ready to rock.

we're in......! we just need enough notice to get all situated...

Let me see what I can do for the first class to be done around Laborday Weekend, and I'll do it SE Coast.

I'm thinking Brandon area for the 2nd one as there is a good wreck in that vicinity (the Regina) that can be used for the shore diving portion. Maybe we can do panhandle or Jacksonville after that.....

Sounds super cool. count two more in, my wife and I. We've been away from the water for a little while with her in school. It would be a good opportunity to meet people as well.

I'd be interested. Sounds like fun. I am always in for good diving with good people. Plus it would give me a chance to get over to the west coast.

Count me in. I've been wanting to participate in this but didn't know how.
Good job!
Chuck

Ok - I'm in for the SE Fla if there's room. (When is Labor Day. All of my days seem to include some labor) If not, I'll book wherever it is next. North East would be more difficult, there's no shore diving here (well, there's plenty of it, but no reefs to see from shore, only Poseidon's impression of a desert). There's a large spring offshore that boils up less than 1/2 mile off shore from Crescent Beach... Interesting, but still not a reef, and quite a surface swim. So anything up here would be boat dives, and there's a few running up here, but I don't know what types of discounts would be available.

Here's what's in Jax...

Depths from 40 to 120 feet
Natural limestone reef ledges
Lots of things to ID!!! :1book:
A 25 year history of artificial reef building
Visibility can range from 20 to 120 feet depending on the season (summer is best).
Summer temps run from 85 @ surface to 66 on bottom during the horrible 'clines we had last year :frosty:
