A law banning bottom trawling was voted down recently. It is unbelievable the damage these things do to coral reefs. I guess we are going to sacrafice all of our marine resources and beauty for the almighty dollar. Here is a pic of a coral ripped from a reef that as divers we wouldnt even dream of floating too closely to just to make sure it wasn't damage and they are dragging nets weighing tons across the reef wiping the life out of it.

It's a shame that the human race being the most intelligent creatures that God created,can be so Stupid.
