hubby said his problem with scattering ashes is that on his last dive, he doesnt want to stuff up the viz ;)
I'm not so big that my ashes would mess up the entire site. Besides, the viz is usually 2 meters or less.

After reading some comments, lets reveiw
1. You are dead
2. You are ash
3. Your opion no longer matters.

Case and point, my wifes grandfather died 3 years ago was cremated and has been in the urn since. Her grandmother died 2 months ago and was crmated. And now they are both still on the dinning room table because her mother can't scatter the ashes as requested, yet.

they are ON the dining room table... eewwhhh.. whole new meaning to family dinner i suppose.

Dad kept my great-aunt's ashes in his car trunk for a year or two before he was able to fulfill her wishes to be scattered in another state.

unlike hubby's wishes - i told him to just take me out on his next dive and do the deed... so i wonder if i my ashes would even have time to cool down before he's out there.

When I was working for an outfit that did this, we joked about doing that for an additional charge.

You might have been able to get a lucrative contract to provide this service to "The Family."

I'd long said I wanted my ashes scattered over the oceans, but when I read about this option a couple years ago, I let my family know this is what I'd prefer. A habitat for ocean life - well, if I can't grow my own gills, I'll help another critter live his life with them ;)

And no, not in any hurry - I'll let them refine the technology a few more decades.

Wow, what a great idea! We just had a memorial for my mother and it got me thinking again about what to do with my ashes after I past.

My spousal unit and I have two ideas, so now we have another! More thinking and bouncing off the wall :smilepong

Must it be the shape of a ball? Can't it have nooks shaped to the liking of your favorite see critters (the better to attract them)? Or can make you in the shape of your favorite thing underwater? Personally I'd like to be made in the shape of a huge sea fan.
