Cracked the face cover completely in half,and broke most of the spacers, did not hurt the ring or the diaphram. Saw the hit (always let the wife in the boat first, makes for much better evenings together) These are small wood boats, so we take our gear off, which I held for the DM, he lifts, I push, and up, into the boat it goes. A wave hit the boat (small, but enough), and he sort of lightly hit the side (all wood).
I saw the damage when I went to change to the second tank.
Plastic is way to stiff on that particular cover, and it is no more than 6 months old (its 17th official dive)
