Hey all...

I will be in Red Sea on August.

I will stay in Hilton Hurghanda Plaza resort (a new 5 star property) that had a private beach and marina.

I have the option to dive with an unknown, at this time, outside dive operator or with the in-hotel Divers International for some $ more. The price different is not important so if anyone can advise me what to choose.

I believe that the in-hotel operators would be easier in terms of no transfers, return directly to the hotel etc etc

So anyone has any experience with the Divers International based in Hilton Plaza in Hurghanda ? They change their dive sites enough ? Or do you suggest to go with the outside dive operator ?

Thanks

Manogr

If you choose a dive centre in Hurghada, make sure they are a member of the local environmental group - HEPCA.

Their members are listed on their website

www.hepca.org

I know Divers International are good in Sharm El Sheikh

I lived in Hurghada three years ago for a year, and I wish you good luck

The last I heard was that a whole boat load of people cancelled their dive due to food posioning. They were staying at the Hilton Plaza.

Check out Emperor Divers at the Hilton - Different hotel completely. Excellent company, superb divemasters and crew, reasonably priced. They will pick you up and drop you off

Good luck

I can tell you who not to dive with....Diamond Sea Divers or the MV Legend. Bad experience last July. The Mv Cylone looked to be a first class boat, but I have no actual experience with them. The Red Sea is wonderful diving.

Hi
The best advise i can give you is to check out the Hotels divers ads ask where they go, i assume you will be day boat diving ie 2 dives a day, and also go to the nearest marina most Dive boats will pick you up and return you to the hotel.

Regards
Kevin
