The people at Guinness World Records are satisfied that Mr Gabr did reach the depth of 332.35m. Consequently, we continue to recognise Mr Gabr as the record-holder for the Deepest scuba dive.

Quite frankly, who gives a damn? These are foolish and dangerous attempts that add very little to the scientific endeavor. Mostly ego driven and partially motivated by nationalistic fervor.

My life is not affected one way or the other. If he did it, okay. And if he didn't, that's okay too.

I'm much more concerned about how to get in more diving while traveling with a 2-year old.
