The Amazing Race/Deep Dive Dubai - Halcyon BPW for Try Dives?

Was watching the Amazing Race this week and they had a challenge at Deep Dive Dubai. Two first time divers futzed around in the water at I assume less than 12 meters.

But the gear was clearly a Halcyon BPW, and it looked like a long hose setup (single tank). Is that really what DDD uses for try dives? Or were they just trying to be extra legit for the Teevee?

Have heard from friends that trimixed to the bottom that it's awesome. Definitely on the list.

Yes, DDD exclusively use Halcyon and some Scuba Pro.

Seems that the Director of the facility is Jarrod, from GUE/Halcyon, so not surprised they're using gear like that. World's deepest swimming pool hides vast sunken city 200 feet underwater

A dive buddy of mine says he did a 40m trimix dive. He's not trimix qualified but PADI Deep.

All gear is rental, only ever used in DDD to stop outside dirt entering the place.
