Any recommendations for a good whale shark dive tour operator. Were heading to Belize for 10 night in May. We'll be in Placencia the 13th-17th. Also, does anyone know the approx. odds of encontering a whale shark. I'm hoping at leat 50% or so. Thanks

Seahorse Dive Center. Three days either side of the full moon. Good chance - don't know %age.

I agree with Peter, Seahorse are very good. I have been diving with them 5 times, % depends on a year. I 've had 10 whale sharks show up at the same time but zeroed out a few times too.

Try Thatch Caye. They are an easier run up on the inside of the reef out to Gladden's Spit, the whale shark area, than Placencia. Percentages are around 70 to 80 percent.
