Recommendations on spools/reels

look, guys, if you don't know how to do it, then don't. If you don't have access to a shop, then don't. I am simply suggesting an alternative to dropping that money unnecessarily. It's a simple process, but, like I said, if you don't like the idea, go buy one.
 
I don't have the knowledge/skills or the shops near me. I wish I had both! Although it's a great idea, it helps to know what's out there and experience a few different models first before you try to design your own. Or of course, you can just build them all in a shop. :D
 
Oh great, now not only do I have to tell the wife I am buying equipment for cave class...now I have to get money to build a shop...to build my reels!:wink:

Glen, tell your wife its not as selfish as it sounds, you have to build reels for all your buddies as well :) Its really for them.
