Nice shots! Where did you find the Monarch butterflies?

Thanks! The butterflies are in a grove at the south end of Pismo Beach. They are there every winter.

Great macro work - love the Sculpin !!
Great set Ken! Nice to see the Monarchs. We see less and less of them up here because the greenfield development and lack of weedy vacant lots has left very little milkweed for them to munch.
Nice job on the sculpin and the Octopus. I love the Red Bryozoan as a background. It's really cool when a good subject finds a good background.

Thanks very much Andy and Larry. Larry there are bezillions of them (actual count about 17,000, I exaggerate a little) right now at the Monarch Grove in Pismo:
Whew... I thought those monarchs were swarming on giant kelp. I'm not wearing my glasses!
