So I recently gave these 2 lights a dive in our amazing PNW cold water and they did not let me down.
The D530 has a very bright and focused beam perfect for spotting an elusive critter or signaling your buddy. The included 18650 has a micro-USB port so no need for a separate charger.
The SD03 has a 4 colors (red, blue, green, white) that are both solid or flashing. A single AA powers this through multiple dives. Great for marking an entry/exit on night dives.

The D530 will become my wife's primary light. I will keep the SD03 in my kit for marking exits or the rare insta-buddy while doing shop dives.

I just took the D550, SD03 and the SD01 for a couple weeks diving in Roatan, including night dive and night snorkeling. For reference my primary light is the CX2 (after 2 x CX1 failures), also have a Nitescuba S20 and S12, and a couple of other lights. The D550 is now my wife's primary light, and the SD03 and SD01 are used as beacons, although the SD03 also makes a nice torch/ flashlight when walking back from the dive shop in the dark! Was very happy with all 3 units and would recommend them.

The SD01 beacon only works with great visibility. In my local quarries with 15' visibility, it can only be seen about 5' away.

I have a D550 which I like a lot. I've only taken it to 60' but no issues so far. It has a rapid strobe feature (hold the power button down for 3 seconds and it switches to a strobe which blinks about 4 times/second) which is great for signaling.

I had a D530 and really liked it. I say I had one because my wife liked it better, "borrowed" it and now claims it as her her own. I liked the ease of use, it's was simple to turn on and off, plus, with only a high and low setting, I'm wasn't constantly cycling through the it. I like narrow beams, as opposed to floods, and the D530 has an 8° degree beam and 1300 lumens was plenty. It was intended as my backup light since I normally have video lights going so I guess I'll let my wife keep it.
